STORYTELLING: THREE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS!

What´s Storytelling for me? Storytelling is more than just another tool for the Language class. It is indeed the most ancient way of transmission of the culture in any civilization. And it is powerful... A set of words joined into sentences and sentences into a whole story. That´s an open gate to fantasy and sharing all our creativity... And, of course, there´s nothing like a good story. Storytelling is a motivating activity for everybody, altough it is considered one of the best resources in the English Class.

Why Digital Storytelling in class? Because we are living in a digital world and the Digital Competence is basic in our Education Systems. And nowadays, with the Digital Interactive Blackboard and other resources, we have new ways of motivating our students. And this way of telling stories can be a good starting point to improve our teaching.

I would like to know some digital tools and how to use them. Also sharing experiences and resources from other teachers. I do think we can learn from each other. And I am willing to learn!
